What is BestCompetition.co.uk?

BestCompetition.co.uk is an online prize competition platform where you can enter prize draws for cash prizes and other rewards. You choose a competition, select your entries, complete checkout (or use the free entry route where available), and once the entry window closes we select a winner from all valid entries in line with the competition’s Terms.

Is this gambling?

No. Our competitions are run as prize competitions and promotions. Where required, we include a qualifying question or skill-based element and/or provide a free entry route in line with applicable UK guidance. We can’t provide legal advice — please read our Terms and Conditions and seek independent advice if needed.

Who can enter?

Unless otherwise stated on the competition page:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Entries are available globally, excluding a small list of prohibited jurisdictions (see our Terms for eligibility).
• You must not be an employee/contractor of the operator, or a member of their immediate household.

Some competitions may have additional eligibility requirements; these will be shown clearly on the competition page and/or in the competition-specific Terms.

How does it work in simple terms?

1. Choose a competition (for example, “Win £100 Cash – Instant Entry Prize Draw”).
2. Select how many entries you want and answer any qualifying question if required.
3. Complete checkout securely (or follow the free entry route instructions where applicable).
4. When the entry window closes, we run the draw and select a winner from all valid entries.
5. The winner is contacted and the result may be published on our Winners page (subject to consent and data protection).

Entries & Tickets

How do I buy entries?

You can purchase entries directly on each competition page:

• Select the entry option you want.
• Answer any qualifying question, if applicable.
• Add to basket and complete checkout.

Do I get specific ticket numbers?

Each valid entry is individually recorded and assigned a unique entry ID within our system. Your order confirmation is your record of purchase and entry, and any entry details we display in your account area will reflect what has been recorded for that competition.

Is there a maximum number of entries per person?

Yes. Each competition has a maximum number of entries per person to keep things fair. The limit will be shown on the competition page and/or in the competition-specific Terms and Conditions. In some competitions, additional fairness limits may apply based on the total number of entries available.

Is there a maximum number of entries overall?

Each competition will have an overall entry cap. Depending on the competition, this may be:

• A fixed maximum number of entries; or
• A system-managed cap where the competition may be closed in line with the published Terms.

Where a fixed cap is used, it will be stated clearly on the competition page. Your chance of winning a competition depends on the total number of valid entries in that competition at the time the draw is run.

Can I enter for free?

Where available, we provide a free entry route (for example, a postal route) so you can take part without making a purchase, provided you follow the instructions exactly.

• The deadline by which we must receive your entry.

All valid entries are treated equally when the winner is selected. Illegible, incomplete, or late entries will not be accepted.

Timers, Draw Dates & “Instant Entry”

What does “Instant Entry Prize Draw” mean?

“Instant entry” means your entries are recorded immediately and included in the next available draw window for that competition. It does not mean the winner is selected the moment you enter — the draw takes place after the entry window closes.

What is the moving bar / “activity” meter on the page?

On some competitions you’ll see a visual progress or activity bar. This is a soft visual indicator designed to show that the competition is active and open for entries. It is not a real-time countdown and it does not represent an exact percentage of entries sold.

What is the countdown timer?

When a competition is approaching its end, we may display a countdown timer (for example, 24–96 hours). This is a hard timer.

• The countdown timer shows the scheduled closing time for that competition.
• Once the timer reaches zero, the entry window closes.
• No new entries (paid or free route) are accepted after the closing time.

When does a competition actually close?

A competition closes when either:

• The countdown timer reaches zero; or
• The competition is otherwise marked as closed on the competition page in line with the competition’s Terms.

Where permitted by the Terms (for example, in the event of technical issues or very low entry volume), a closing time may be adjusted. Any change will be shown on the competition page and applied fairly.

Winners & Prizes

How is the winner selected?

Once the entry window has closed, we compile all valid entries for that competition (including valid free route entries where applicable) and select a winning entry in line with the competition’s published Terms and Conditions. Our records are retained to support the administration of the competition.

How will I know if I’ve won?

If you win, we will contact you using the details provided on your account/order and/or free entry details (where applicable). This will usually be by email, and where available we may also attempt to contact you by phone.

Will winners be published?

We may publish limited winner information (for example first name, initial, and general area) on our Winners page, subject to your consent and applicable data protection requirements.

What if the winner can’t be contacted?

If we’re unable to contact the winner after reasonable attempts within the time stated in the competition’s Terms and Conditions, we will follow the process set out in those Terms (which may include selecting an alternative winner).

What happens if a competition receives fewer entries than expected?

Competitions are run in line with their published Terms. Where the Terms allow for it, we may extend the closing date or apply another remedy stated in the competition Terms. Any such approach is applied transparently and fairly.

Bonus Credits (Future Draw Credits)

Do you offer complimentary bonus entries or credits?

On qualifying purchases, we may automatically allocate complimentary bonus credits that can contribute toward entries in selected future draws. Any complimentary credits and resulting entries are recorded by our system and confirmed in your order/account records. Full details are set out in our Terms.

Subscriptions & Payments

Are there subscription options?

Some products may offer a subscription option that automatically processes entries on a recurring basis (for example weekly or monthly). Where offered, the price, frequency, what’s included, and how to cancel will be shown on the product page and at checkout.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

You can manage subscriptions from your account area or via links provided in subscription emails. Unless stated otherwise, you can cancel at any time and future payments will stop. Entries already processed and paid for will still be included in the relevant competitions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners; we do not store your full card details on our servers.

Are my payment details secure?

Yes. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors using industry-standard security. We only receive the information needed to administer your order and entries (for example your contact details and confirmation that payment was successful).

Fairness, Compliance & Trust

How do I know the draws are fair?

We’re committed to running fair, transparent competitions in line with our published Terms. We do this by:

• Including all valid entries (paid and free route where applicable) in the same winner selection for that competition.
• Operating competition rules and limits as stated on the competition page and in the Terms.
• Keeping records to support competition administration.

If you have a concern about a specific competition, please contact support so we can investigate.

Do you donate to good causes?

From time to time, specific competitions may support charities or other good causes. If so, the competition page will clearly state the charity/cause and how support is provided. Only competitions that explicitly mention a cause include such support.
