Fair Draw Process

We are committed to running every competition in a fair, open, and transparent way. Every valid entry has an equal chance of winning, whether it is a paid entry or a free postal entry.

1. Entry Collection & Eligibility

Entries are accepted via our website and, where offered, via free postal entry. All entries must:

  • Be received before the advertised closing date and time.
  • Meet any eligibility criteria stated in the competition’s description and our Terms & Conditions.
  • Include accurate contact details so we can notify the winner.

Free postal entries (where available) are treated in exactly the same way as paid entries once they are logged into our system.

2. Closing the Draw

Each competition will end either:

  • On the advertised end date and time, or
  • When all available entries have sold out (if a maximum number of entries is specified).

Once the draw is closed, no further entries are accepted. All valid entries received up to that point are included in the prize draw.

3. Random Winner Selection

The winner is selected at random from all eligible entries using a fair and unbiased process. We use:

  • A randomised selection method to ensure each entry has the same chance of winning.
  • A secure, logged process so the draw can be reviewed if required.

No manual “picking and choosing” takes place – the winner is determined solely by the random draw.

4. Independent Oversight (Where Applicable)

For selected competitions, the draw may be:

  • Witnessed or verified by an independent third party, or
  • Recorded for audit and compliance purposes.

Details of any independent adjudication will be clearly stated in the competition description where applicable.

5. Winner Notification & Verification

After the draw has taken place:

  • The winner is contacted using the details provided when they entered (email and/or phone).
  • We may ask the winner to provide proof of identity or eligibility before confirming the prize.
  • Once verified, the winner’s first name, initial, and/or general location may be published in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

6. Transparency & Records

We keep clear records of:

  • The total number of entries in each competition.
  • The date and time the draw took place.
  • The method used to select the winner.
