General
What is BestCompetition.co.uk?
BestCompetition.co.uk is an online prize competition platform. You choose a competition, enter via checkout (or the free entry route where available), and when the entry window closes we select a winner from all valid entries in line with the competition’s Terms.
Is this gambling?
No. Our competitions are run as prize competitions and promotions. Where required, we include a qualifying question or skill-based element and/or provide a free entry route. We can’t provide legal advice — please read our Terms and Conditions if you’re unsure.
Who can enter?
Unless otherwise stated on the competition page, you must be 18+ and eligible to enter. Entries are available globally, excluding a small list of prohibited jurisdictions (see our Terms for the current eligibility rules). Employees/contractors of the operator and members of their immediate household are not eligible.
Entries & Free Entry Route
How do I enter?
On the competition page, select your entry option, answer any qualifying question if required, and complete checkout. Where available, you can also enter via the free entry route by following the published instructions exactly.
Are paid and free entries treated the same?
Yes. All valid entries (paid and valid free entry route entries, where applicable) are included together and have an equal chance once the draw is run.
Do I get ticket numbers?
Each valid entry is recorded and assigned a unique entry ID in our system. Your order confirmation and account records (where shown) reflect what has been recorded for that competition.
Are there entry limits or caps?
Yes. Competitions can have per-person limits and an overall cap. These limits are shown on the competition page and/or in the competition-specific Terms.
Can I enter for free?
Where available, a free entry route is provided so you can take part without making a purchase. Please see our Free Entry Route page and the competition Terms for the exact wording, address/details required, and the deadline for receipt.
Timers & Closing
What does “Instant Entry” mean?
Your entry is recorded immediately and included in the next available draw window for that competition. It does not mean the winner is selected instantly.
What are the activity bar and the countdown timer?
Some competitions show a moving activity bar as a soft visual indicator that the competition is open and active (it is not a real-time countdown or an exact “entries sold” meter). Where shown, the countdown timer is a hard timer and reflects the scheduled closing time for that competition.
When does a competition close?
A competition closes when the countdown timer reaches zero (if shown) or when it is marked closed on the competition page in line with the competition’s published Terms.
Winners & Prizes
How is the winner selected and notified?
After the entry window closes, we select a winning entry in line with the competition Terms from all valid entries. We contact winners using the details provided, usually by email (and by phone where available). Winner details may be published in limited form on our Winners page, subject to consent and data protection requirements.
What if a winner can’t be contacted?
If we can’t contact a winner after reasonable attempts within the time stated in the competition Terms, we follow the process set out in those Terms (which may include selecting an alternative winner).
Bonus Credits (Future Draw Credits)
What are Future Draw Credits?
On qualifying purchases, we may automatically allocate complimentary bonus credits that can contribute toward entries in selected future draws. Where applicable, these allocations are recorded by our system and reflected in your order/account records. Full details are in our Terms.
Payments & Support
Are payments secure?
Yes. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners using industry-standard security. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
